How Romantica :: Designer, Jill Remy and Photographer Kristen Beinke make magic at La Purisma Mission in Lompoc ♥ Hair and Makeup by LunaBella

Working with such inspirational professionals as Jill Remy of Jill & Co. and photographer Kristen Beinke that makes you appreciate other creative industry professionals. For this photo shoot, the ladies basically already had the idea and inspiration for the planned shoot. For the hair and makeup, they really wanted for the lovely model,  to have flexibility to play with her hair and have motion throughout the shoot. Of course, our model is naturally stunning, so we really relied on her features to come through and command the attention so the makeup and hair is just an enhancement.

Peaches, corals, golds, and soft nudes are just some of the tones that makeup artist Ashley Kelly decided would suit her skin tone as well as the style of the shoot. Because I wanted for her to have the flexibility with the hair, I curled her hair with a big barrel iron, set it, then brushed it out with a bit of argan oil. The results…we’ll let you decide. Check out a few of our personal favorite photos from the shoot here. Or visit Grey Likes Weddings and view our whole feature with the full gallery and detail from the designer and editor. XO
